Cardholder Agreement for Perx Prepaid Corporate Reward Cards
Definitions
In this Card Agreement the following terms have the meanings set out below:
“Available Balance” means at any given time any unspent funds loaded onto the Wallet which are available to pay for transactions and fees and charges payable under this Card Agreement. “Business Day” means means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday on which banks are open for business in Ireland.
“Card Agreement” or “Agreement” means these terms and conditions governing the use of a Card and Card Services.
“Card” means a physical, digital or virtual prepaid, non-reloadable, payment card issued by Perx to the Company for use by a Cardholder.
“Card Balance” means at any given time any unspent funds loaded onto a particular Cards which are available to pay for transactions and fees and charges payable under this Card Agreement. “Card Features” has the meaning given to it in clause 3.1.
“Card Funds” means funds available for spend on any particular Card having been loaded onto such Card from the Wallet.

Perx Reward Non-Reloadable Mastercard® Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to you Perx Reward Non-Reloadable Mastercard (“Card”) (whether physical or digital) and its use. You must read them carefully. In these terms and conditions "you" means the named Prepaid Cardholder and the authorised user of the Prepaid Card. "We", "us" or "our" means Prepaid Financial Services Limited. “Website” means our website at www.perxreward.com
1. Your Prepaid Mastercard Card
You can use your Card at any location worldwide that displays the Mastercard Acceptance Mark, including shops, restaurants or on the telephone. Before using your Card, it is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient funds loaded on it to cover your purchase. You will not be able to use your Card after its expiry date.
Your Card is not a credit card and is not in any way connected to your bank account. You will not earn any interest on any funds loaded on your Card.
2. Applying for and activating your Prepaid Card
In order to purchase the Card, you must be a representative of a Corporate entity. We will require evidence of who you are and your address. We may ask you to provide some documentary evidence to prove this and/or we may carry out checks on you electronically. As the cardholder, you must sign the signature strip on the back of the physical Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card as soon as it is received.
You can activate your Card by following the instructions on the email containing your digital card or provided with your physical card. You can check the date that you activated your Card by selecting the Card in the Get My eCard App (where the date will be displayed as part of the transaction history) or by logging into your account at www.perxreward.com and viewing the Card.
By using the digital or physical Card, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
3. Registering your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Reward Card
We would recommend that you register your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card upon receiving it. You do this by logging onto www.perxreward.com You will be able to manage your card from your account including getting balances and recent transaction history.
4. Using your Perx Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card
Detailed instructions on how to use your Card are found on the Website. You will need to follow these instructions when using your Prepaid Card. We will deduct the value of your transactions from the balance on your Card as soon as they are made. We will also deduct any applicable fees as soon as they become payable by you, see condition13 below for details of our fees. The Perx Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card belongs to us.
For fraud prevention reasons your card usage may be queried, and we may block further usage. In such circumstances, you can simply contact our customer support team on ukperx@emlpayments.com or by phoning 01384 492606 (+44 1384 492606 if calling from outside of the UK) to request to have your card reinstated.
We may ask you to stop using your Card and return it to us or destroy it. We may at any time suspend, restrict or cancel your Card or refuse to issue or replace your Card for reasons relating to the following:
- we are concerned about security of your Cards we have issued to you;
- we suspect your Card is being used in an unauthorised or fraudulent manner;
- or we need to do so to comply with the law.
If we do this, we will tell you as soon as we can or are permitted to do so after we have taken these steps. Like other payment cards, we cannot guarantee a retailer will accept your Card. We may also refuse to pay a transaction:
- if we are concerned about the security of your Card or we suspect your Card is being used in an unauthorised or fraudulent manner;
- If sufficient funds are not loaded on your Card at the time of a transaction to cover the amount of the transaction and any applicable fees;
- if there is an outstanding Shortfall on your Card in accordance with condition 13;
- if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you are acting in breach of this agreement;
- if we believe that a transaction is potentially suspicious or illegal (for example, if we believe that a transaction is being made fraudulently); or
- because of errors, failures (whether mechanical or otherwise) or refusals by merchants, payment processors or payment schemes processing transactions.
If we refuse to authorise a transaction, we will, if practicable, tell you why immediately unless it would be unlawful for us to do so. You may correct any information we hold, and which may have caused us to refuse a transaction by contacting us on ukperx@emlpayments.com or phoning 01384 492606 (+44 1384 492606 if calling from outside of the UK).
Actions to take if you suspect fraud

5. Authorising Transactions
Subject to the features of the particular Perx Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, the authorisation of a transaction can include authorising any single transaction, a series or recurring transactions (including transactions for an indefinite period) or pre-authorising future transactions of a certain or uncertain amount.
A Card transaction will be regarded as authorised by you where you;
- authorise the transaction at the point of sale by following the instructions provided by the merchant or retailer to authorise the transaction, which may include:
- signing a sales voucher;
- providing the Prepaid Card details and/ or providing any other details as requested;
- swiping the Prepaid Card in the card reader
Authorisation for a transaction may not be withdrawn (or revoked) by you after the time it is received. However, the following transactions may be withdrawn if you or an additional Prepaid Non-Reloadable Cardholder gives notice to the supplier (providing a copy of the notice to us):
- any transaction which is agreed to take place on a date later than the date it was authorised as long as notice was provided no later than the close of business on the business day before it was due to take place;
We may charge you a fee if a transaction is revoked by you under this condition, please see our fees table in condition 13 below.
We will pay the funds required by the retailer or merchant to cover the transactions authorised by you within 3 days of us receiving their request. A transaction (the payment order) will be received as follows:
- for purchases, at the time we receive the transaction instruction from the merchant acquirer;
- for other transactions which are communicated directly to us, at the time you ask us to complete the transaction.
- If, in relation to;
- purchases, we receive the transaction instruction from the merchant acquirer; or
- other transactions communicated directly to us, you ask us to complete the transaction after seven days, the transaction instruction or request will be deemed to have been received by us on the following business day.
6. Cancellation and expiry of your Card
This agreement will continue indefinitely unless terminated, or there are no funds left to access. You may contact us to cancel the Card by sending an email to ukperx@emlpayments.com or telephoning 01384 492606 (+44 1384 492606 if calling from outside of the UK). Any funds remaining on the Card can be redeemed in line with condition 11.
We may also cancel your agreement for any reason by giving you at least 2 months’ notice:
- if this agreement or your card expires on a set date and we have not agreed to renew this Agreement;
- if you break an important part of this agreement, or repeatedly break the agreement and fail to resolve the matter in a timely manner;
- if you act in a manner that is threatening or abusive to our staff, or any of our representatives;
- if you fail to pay fees or charges that you have incurred or fail to put right any shortfall;
- in the event of your death.
We may also cancel this agreement or suspend your card immediately if we believe your Card is deliberately being used by you to commit fraud or for other illegal purposes. If we do this, we will tell you as soon as we are permitted to do so. If we cancel your Card, any unused funds will be returned to the purchaser of the card and it will be between you and the purchaser as to whether funds will be returned to you. If your Card is cancelled, we will immediately block your Card so it cannot be used.
Your Card will be valid for a minimum of 15 months.
On expiry of your Card, you will not automatically be provided with a replacement card however you may contact us to seek redemption of the remaining funds on your Card by following the process described at condition10. Any remaining funds on your Card after it has expired will continue to be subject to the fees set out in condition 13, including the Card Maintenance Fee.
When we issue a replacement Card we may charge a fee. Please see condition 13 for a summary of fees.
7. Keeping your Card secure
You should treat your Card like cash. If it is lost or stolen, you may lose some or all of your money on your Card, in the same way as if you lost cash in your wallet or purse. As a result, you must keep your Card safe and not let anyone else use it. You should sign the back of the card immediately upon receipt of the card.
We recommend that you check the balance on your Card regularly online at the Website. We will provide you with your Card balance and a statement of recent transactions either by electronic means or on our secure webpage at any time. Your statement will show:
- information relating to each Card transaction which will enable it to be identified;
- the amount of the Card transaction shown in the currency in which the transaction was paid or debited to the account;
- the amount of charges for the transaction
- the date the transaction is authorised or posted on to the account.
8. Lost and stolen Card and unauthorised or incorrectly executed payments
In the event of a lost or stolen card you can block your card immediately by logging onto your account and placing a block on your account. You may also contact us without undue delay to report the prepaid non-reloadable card lost or stolen or if you think a transaction has been incorrectly executed by calling us on our 24 hour lost and stolen card helpline 01384 492606 (+44 1384 492606) if calling from outside of the UK) or by sending an email to ukperx@emlpayments.com. In order to report a transaction this way you MUST know the 16-digit card number.
We will refund any incorrectly executed transaction immediately unless we have any reason to believe that the incident has been caused by a breach of this agreement, gross negligence or we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity, however you will bear the loss, up to €50 in total, if the transaction results from the use of a lost or stolen card.
However, if the investigations show that any disputed transaction was authorised by you, or you have acted fraudulently or with gross negligence (for example by failing to keep your Prepaid Card secure), you may be liable any loss we suffer because of the use of the Card.
9. Liability for Unauthorised or Incorrectly Executed Transactions
- Subject to Clauses 9.2, 9.3 and 9.6 ‘we will reimburse you in full only once 45 days have passed for unauthorised Transactions sent from your Card (except where we have reasonable grounds for suspecting fraud) provided that you have informed us of the unauthorised Transaction ,as stated in clause 8,without undue delay after becoming aware of the Transaction and in any event, no later than 13 months after the Transaction was executed. Where applicable, we shall restore your Card to the state in which it would have been had the unauthorised Transaction not taken place, so that that the credit value date shall be no later than the date the amount had been debited.
- You are liable for any losses incurred by an unauthorised Transaction if you have acted fraudulently or failed either intentionally or through gross negligence, to use your Card in accordance with the terms of this Agreement or to keep your Access Codes confidential and secure in accordance with Clause 7.
- You shall not be liable for losses incurred by an unauthorised Transaction which takes place after you have notified us of a compromise of your Access Codes according to Clause 8, unless you have acted fraudulently, or where we have failed to provide you with the means to notify us in the agreed manner without delay on you becoming aware of the loss, theft, misappropriation or unauthorised use of your Card.
- We shall not be liable for a refund or losses incurred by an incorrectly or non-executed payment Transaction if the details of the payee’s account provided by you were incorrect or we can prove that the full amount of the Transaction was duly received by the payment service provider of the payee.
- We shall not be liable for any unauthorised or incorrectly executed Transactions in case the Transaction was affected by abnormal and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our reasonable control or where we acted in accordance with a legal obligation. Where we are liable for the incorrect execution of a Transfer that you receive under this Agreement, we shall immediately place the amount of the Transaction at your disposal in accordance and credit the corresponding amount to your Card no later than the date on which the amount would have been value dated, had the Transaction been correctly executed.
- Where we are liable for the incorrect execution of a Payment, Transfer by you as payer, we shall, without undue delay, refund to you the amount of the non-executed or defective Transaction, and, where applicable, restore the debited Card to the state in which it would have been had the defective Transaction not taken place.
- In the case of a non-executed or defectively executed Payment, Transfer or by you as payer, we shall, regardless of whether we are liable, on request, make immediate efforts to trace the Transaction and notify you of the outcome, free of charge.
- A Payment initiated by or through a payee (e.g. a Merchant) shall be considered to be unauthorised if you have not given your consent for the Payment to be made. If you believe that a Payment has been made without your consent, you should contact us in accordance with Clause 8.
- A claim for a refund of an authorised Direct Debit or Payment initiated by or through a payee (e.g. a Merchant) where the authorisation did not specify an exact amount of payment Transaction (and the amount of the Payment exceeded the amount that you reasonably could have expected taking into account your previous spending pattern, this Agreement and the circumstances of the case), must be made within 8 weeks from the date on which the funds were deducted from your Available Balance. Within 10 Business Days of receiving your claim for a refund or within 10 Business Days of receiving further information from you, we will either refund the full amount of the Payment as at the date on which the amount of the Payment was debited or provide you with justification for refusing the refund.
- The right to a refund under this Clause 11 does not apply where you have given consent directly to us for the Payment to be made and, if applicable, information on the Payment was provided or made available to you by us or the payee in an agreed manner for at least four weeks before the due date.
- If you are not satisfied with the justification provided for refusing the refund or with the outcome of your claim for a refund, you may submit a complaint to us or contact the complaints authority as described in Clause 18.
- If at any time we have incorrectly deducted money from your Available Balance, we shall refund the amount to you. If we subsequently establish that the refunded amount had been correctly deducted, we may deduct it from your Available Balance and C for these, and they will be deducted from your Card or otherwise charged to you.
10. General Liability
- Without prejudice to Clause 9 and subject to Clause 10.4;
- neither party shall be liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss or damage (including without limitation loss of business, profits or revenues), incurred in connection with this Agreement, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise;
- we shall not be liable:
- if you are unable to use the Card for any valid reason stated in this Agreement;
- for any fault or failure beyond our reasonable control relating to the use of the Card including but not limited to, a lack of Available Balance or fault in or failure of data processing systems;
- for any loss, fault or failure relating to the use of a Third-Party Provider;
- if a Merchant refuses to accept a transaction or fails to cancel an authorisation or pre-authorisation;
- for the goods or services that are purchased with your Card;
- for any dispute you might have with a Merchant or other user of the Card where you acted with:
- undue delay
- fraudulently; or
- With gross negligence. (including where losses arise due to your failure to keep us notified of your correct personal details)
- You agree that you will not use the Card in an illegal manner, and you agree to indemnify us against any claim or proceeding brought about by such illegal use of the Card by you, your Authorised Person(s) and Additional Cardholder(s).
- You are solely responsible for your interactions with Merchants or other users of the Card. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor or mediate such disputes.
- To the fullest extent permitted by relevant law, and subject to Clause 9 and Clause 10.5, our total liability under or arising from this Agreement shall be limited as follows:
- where your Card is faulty due to our default, our liability shall be limited to replacement of the Card or, at our choice, repayment to you of the Available Balance; and
- in all other circumstances of our default, our liability will be limited to repayment of the amount of the Available Balance.
- Nothing in this Agreement shall exclude or limit either Party's liability in respect of death or personal injury arising from that party's negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- No party shall be liable for or be considered in breach of this Agreement on account of, any delay or failure to perform as required by this Agreement as a result of any causes or conditions which are beyond such Party's reasonable control.
Your Rights to Redemption of Funds and Refunding of Transactions on Your Card
Redeeming the funds on your Card
If your Card is cancelled or expired and you wish to redeem the funds on your Card, please either contact us by email at ukperx@emlpayments.com or telephone on 01384 492606 (+44 1384 492606 if calling from outside of the UK), requesting redemption and indicating the amount to be redeemed. When we process the redemption request, we may require the provision of documents such as identification to us, so that we may process the request in accordance with legal requirements. We may also charge a redemption fee if one of the following circumstances applies:
You are requesting redemption before termination or expiry of this agreement;
You cancel this agreement before any agreed termination or expiry date; or
You request redemption more than one year after the date of termination or expiry of this agreement

Refunding Transactions, You may be entitled to claim a refund in relation to transactions where:
- the transactions were not authorised under this agreement;
- we are responsible for a transaction which was incorrectly executed notified us in accordance with condition 8 above;
- a pre-authorised transaction did not specify the exact amount at the time of its authorisation and the amount charged by a supplier is more than you or an additional Prepaid Cardholder could reasonably have expected taking into account normal spending patterns on the Card or the circumstances of the transaction.
A claim for a refund in the circumstances set out above will not be accepted if the amount of the transaction was made available to you at least four weeks before the transaction date or it is made more than 8 weeks after being debited to your account.
We will arrange an electronic transfer to a bank account nominated by you. However, to enable us to comply with our legal obligations, we may ask you to provide us with certain information before we can process your refund request.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time by notifying you by e-mail or other agreed means at least two months before the change is due to take effect. The up-to-date version of the Card terms and conditions will always be available on the Website. The change will automatically take effect and you will be taken to have accepted the notified change unless you tell us that you do not agree to the change. In that event, we will treat that notice as notification that you wish immediately to terminate. In such circumstances we will refund any balance on the card in accordance with condition 10 above and you will not be charged a Refund Fee.
When you have transactions in a currency other than the base currency of the card, in order to ensure that the most accurate exchange rate is used we make the exchange immediately to convert the foreign transaction into the base currency of the card. For all transactions made in a foreign currency you can find out what the applicable exchange rate was at the time of the transaction via the Mastercard website

13. The Fees
We do not charge any fees for checking your on-line balance and transactions. However, the following fees do apply:
Redemption / Refund Fee
* Please see condition 2 for how to view the activation date for your Card.
If we decide to increase or impose any new fees, we will notify you at least two months before any changes take effect by posting the change to our website.
Authorisation will be requested for all transactions at the time of each transaction. In the unlikely event, for any reason whatsoever, a transaction is completed when there are insufficient funds on the Card for that transaction (a "Shortfall"), the Shortfall shall be reimbursed by you unless it is due to an error on the part of the retailer where the Card was presented, in this circumstance we may seek the Shortfall from the retailer.
You agree that once we make this Shortfall known to you, we may charge you for the Shortfall amount. We may charge the amount of the shortfall from any other Cards that you hold with us, to any other payment method which you may designate at that time.
14. Your Details
You must let us know as soon as possible if you change name, address, phone number or e-mail address. If we contact you in relation to your Card, for example, to notify you that we have cancelled your Card or to send you a refund by cheque, we will use the most recent contact details you have provided to us. Any e-mail to you will be treated as being received as soon as it is sent by us. We will not be liable to you if your contact details have changed and you have not told us.
15. Data Protection
In activating and using the Card, you agree that we can use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy is set out on our Website, it includes details of the personal information that we collect, how it will be used, and who we pass it to. You can tell us if you don't want to receive any marketing materials from us.
16. Your Personal Data
PFS is a registered Data Controller with the Information Commissioners Office in the UK under registration number Z1821175. We are committed to ensuring that the personal information we hold is secured, protected and used responsibly at all times.
We collect personal data about you initially through our partners who are authorised under contractual arrangements to provide our services directly to you. This data initially includes your contact information, proof of identity and your authorised representatives where applicable.
We may disclose or check your personal data with other organisations and obtain further information about you in order to verify your identity and comply with applicable money laundering and governmental regulations. A record of our enquiries will be left on your file.
We record personal data through your use of the services, such as transactions, interactions with you through emails, telephone calls you make to us, your use of our website or use of associates apps.

17. Disputes with Retailers
If you have any disputes about purchases made using your Card, you should settle these with the person you bought the goods or services from. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or any other aspect of any goods or services purchased with your Card. Remember that once you have used your Card to make a purchase we cannot stop that transaction. Your card is not a credit or debit card and does not provide you with any protection under the Consumer Protection Act 1974.
18. Communication
If you have an enquiry relating to your Card, you can use the "Contact Us" facility on the website. We will deal with your enquiry promptly. If you do not wish to enquire in this way you can alternatively call our customer service telephone line, or if your card has been lost or stolen, on 01384 492606 (+44 1384 492606 if calling from outside of the UK). The customer services telephone line is a chargeable service. Calls are charged at your local call rate.
19. Complaints
The Card programme is managed by Prepaid Financial Services Limited. If you are unhappy in any way with your Card or the way it is managed, tell us by emailing ukperx@emlpayments.com or telephoning 01384492606 (+44 1384 492606 if calling from outside of the UK) so we can investigate the circumstances for you. Any complaints you have will be dealt with quickly and fairly. You may be able to take unresolved complaints to the Financial Ombudsman Service. 20. Compensation
The Card is an electronic money product and although it is a product regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, it is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. No other compensation scheme exists to cover losses claimed in connection with the Card. This means that in the unlikely event that Prepaid Financial Services Limited becomes insolvent your funds may become valueless and unusable and as a result you may lose your money.
21. Assignment
We may assign the benefit and burden of these terms and conditions to another company at any time, on giving you 2 month’s prior notice of this. If we do this, your rights will not be affected.
22. Transfer to a new Prepaid Card
We may transfer your unused balance to a new Card provided by a Prepaid Card issuer other than Prepaid Financial Services Limited at any time. Before we do this, we will give you two months’ notice of the new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card arrangements and the new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card terms and conditions. Unless you advise us within the two-month period that you do not want a new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card from the new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card issuer, you agree that we can automatically transfer the unused balance on your Card to a new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card provided by the new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card issuer.
23. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England & Wales, and any dispute or claim in relation to this Agreement shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
24. Fund Protection
All relevant funds corresponding to your Available Balance are segregated from our funds and held in the Customer Funds Account in accordance with the safeguarding requirements of the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 by law. If we became insolvent those funds are protected against claims made by any of our creditors.
25. Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card Issuer
The e-money associated with your card is issued by Prepaid Financial Services Limited whose principle office is Fourth Floor, 35 Great St Helen's, London, EC3A 6AP. Prepaid Financial Services Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011, Firm Reference Number 900036, for the issuance of electronic money and provision of payment services. The Perx Prepaid Reward Mastercard card is issued by Prepaid Financial Services Limited pursuant to a licence by Mastercard International Incorporated. Your Prepaid Reward Card is the property of Prepaid Financial Services Limited and not transferrable to anyone else.
Mastercard is a registered trademark, and the circles design is a trademark of Mastercard International Incorporated.
Appendix - Pay Provider Terms and Conditions
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM Prepaid Financial Services Limited
In these terms and conditions, "Pay Provider" means whichever of Google Pay or Apple Pay provides the ability to make purchases on your mobile device. Apple Pay is a trademark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
1. Using your Pay Provider with a Perx Prepaid Non-reloadable card (Card)
Your Pay Provider allows you to make purchases using your Card with a compatible mobile device where your Pay Provider is accepted by merchants. Your Card's Terms and Conditions governs the use of your Card in your Pay Provider and nothing in these terms in conditions alters or amends the restrictions placed on the use of your Card.
2. Security
You are responsible for all transactions on a Card and as such, you must keep your device and security credentials safe and secure at all times, in the same way you would your physical Card or PIN. Never share your device security credentials or allow another person to register their fingerprint to your device as that person will be able to make payments using your Card. If you do allow someone access, you will be responsible for their use of your Card.
We recommend you always use the device lock feature on your mobile device. For more information about safety and security refer to your mobile device manufacturer security settings.
3. Lost/Stolen Device & Unauthorised Use
If your mobile device has been lost, stolen or compromised in any way, you should contact EML on 01384 492606 (+44 1384 492606 if calling from outside of the UK) . We can suspend or remove your Card from your Pay Provider to prevent further unauthorized use. Further, you may be able to use your Pay Provider's Find My Mobile service to remotely Lock or Wipe your device (also Locking or Wiping your Pay Provider and all the payment cards registered in it). See also any FAQs that may be available on your Pay Provider's website in respect of Security.
4. Using your information
We use your information to manage your use of your Pay Provider, present you with updates and to display targeted offers and advertising from time to time. Your Pay Provider shares information with us for fraud and identification purposes. We always use your information in accordance with EML's Online Privacy Statement which can be viewed at EMLPayments.com
When you register your Card to your device, your Pay Provider or its parent company may access and process your information, including information about your transactions. We share some of your information with your Pay Provider or its parent company to display to you in your Pay Provider, which your Pay Provider or its parent company uses in an aggregated and de-identified way to help improve your Pay Provider. The use of your personal information by your Pay Provider or its parent company is solely governed by Pay Provider's privacy policy or that of its parent company which are available online.
5. Using your Pay Provider's technology
Your Pay Provider may change its services from time to time and EML has no control over your Pay Provider's decisions to change any of its services or products (including your Pay Provider's terms or use or privacy policies). In order to use your Pay Provider, you must agree to your Pay Provider's terms of use and privacy policy which are available on your Pay Provider's website.
Perx® Reward Non-Reloadable Card Terms and Conditions.
These terms and conditions apply to your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Mastercard®. You must read them carefully. In these terms and conditions "you" means the named Prepaid Cardholder and the authorised user of the Prepaid Card. "We", "us" or "our" means PerfectCard DAC. “Website” means our website at www.perxreward.com
1. Your Prepaid Mastercard Card
You can use the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card at any location worldwide that displays the Mastercard Acceptance Mark, including shops, restaurants or on the telephone. Before using the Prepaid Card, it is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient funds loaded on it to cover your purchase. You will not be able to use your Prepaid Card after its expiry date.
Your Prepaid Card is not a credit card and is not in any way connected to your bank account. You will not earn any interest on any funds loaded on your Prepaid Reward Card.
Your Perx® Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card can be used anywhere worldwide and online where the Mastercard Acceptance Mark is displayed.
2. Applying for and activating your Prepaid Card
In order to purchase a Perx® Reward Non-Reloadable Card, you must be a representative of a Corporate entity and you must be at least 18 years of age. We will require evidence of who you are and your address. We may ask you to provide some documentary evidence to prove this and/or we may carry out checks on you electronically. As the cardholder, you must sign the signature strip on the back of the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card as soon as it is received.
By using the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
3. Loading your Prepaid Card
The amount you can load onto your card is up to a maximum amount of €2,500 following the successful completion of the due diligence requirements. We reserve the right to refuse to accept any particular loading transaction. Upon receipt and clearance, your funds will be available for use on the Prepaid Card without delay.
4. Registering your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Reward Card
We would recommend that you register your prepaid non-reloadable reward card upon receiving it. You do this by logging onto www.perxreward.com You will be able to manage your card from your account including getting balances and recent transaction history.
5. Using your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card
Detailed instructions on how to use your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card are found on the Website. You will need to follow these instructions when using your Prepaid Card. We will deduct the value of your transactions from the balance on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card as soon as they are made. We will also deduct any applicable fees as soon as they become payable by you, see our Fees section below for details of our fees. The Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card belongs to us.

For fraud prevention reasons your card usage may be queried, and we may block further usage. In such circumstances, you can simply contact our customer support team on info@perxreward.com or phoning 1850 496 496 (if calling from outside of Ireland +353 1 255 7111) to request to have your card reinstated.
We may ask you to stop using your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card and return it to us or destroy it. We may at any time suspend, restrict or cancel your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card or refuse to issue or replace a Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card for reasons relating to the following:
- we are concerned about security of your account or Prepaid Non-Reloadable Cards we have issued to you;
- we suspect your account is being used in an unauthorised or fraudulent manner;
- or we need to do so to comply with the law.
If we do this, we will tell you as soon as we can or are permitted to do so after we have taken these steps. Like other payment cards, we cannot guarantee a retailer will accept your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card. We may also refuse to pay a transaction:
- if we are concerned about security of your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card or we suspect your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card is being used in an unauthorised or fraudulent manner;
- If sufficient funds are not loaded on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card at the time of a transaction to cover the amount of the transaction and any applicable fees;
- if there is an outstanding Shortfall on the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card in accordance with condition 12;
- if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you are acting in breach of this agreement;
- if we believe that a transaction is potentially suspicious or illegal (for example, if we believe that a transaction is being made fraudulently); or
- because of errors, failures (whether mechanical or otherwise) or refusals by merchants, payment processors or payment schemes processing transactions.
If we refuse to authorise a transaction, we will, if practicable, tell you why immediately unless it would be unlawful for us to do so. You may correct any information we hold, and which may have caused us to refuse a transaction by contacting us on info@perxreward.com or phoning +353 (0)1 255 7111.
6. Authorising Transactions
Subject to the features of the particular Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, the authorisation of a transaction can include authorising any single transaction, a series or recurring transactions (including transactions for an indefinite period) or pre-authorising future transactions of a certain or uncertain amount.
A Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card transaction will be regarded as authorised by you where you;
- authorise the transaction at the point of sale by following the instructions provided by the merchant or retailer to authorise the transaction, which may include:
- b) providing the Prepaid Card details and/ or providing any other details as requested;
- c) swiping the Prepaid Card in the card reader
Authorisation for a transaction may not be withdrawn (or revoked) by you after the time it is received. However, the following transactions may be withdrawn if you or an additional Prepaid Non-Reloadable Cardholder gives notice to the supplier (providing a copy of the notice to us):
- any transaction which is agreed to take place on a date later than the date is was authorised as long as notice was provided no later than the close of business on the business day before it was due to take place;
We may charge you a fee if a transaction is revoked by you under this condition, please see our fees table in Section 12 below.
We will pay the funds required by the retailer or merchant to cover the transactions authorised by you within 3 days of us receiving their request. A transaction (the payment order) will be received as follows:
- for purchases, at the time we receive the transaction instruction from the merchant acquirer;
- for other transactions which are communicated directly to us, at the time you ask us to complete the transaction.
- If, in relation to;
- a) purchases, we receive the transaction instruction from the merchant acquirer; or
- b) other transactions communicated directly to us, you ask us to complete the transaction after seven days, the transaction instruction or request will be deemed to have been received by us on the following business day.
7. Cancellation and expiry of your Prepaid Card
This agreement will continue indefinitely unless terminated. You, as the purchaser, have a legal right to cancel your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card up to 14 days after you purchase the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card without being charged the Redemption Fee – this 14-day period is known as the “Cooling-Off Period”. Under these terms and conditions, you also have the right to cancel your Prepaid Card at any time after the 14-day Cooling-Off Period without notice. If you cancel your prepaid card, once all transactions and fees have been deducted, we will arrange for any unused funds to be refunded to you, see “Your Right to Redemption of Funds and Refunding of Transactions on Your Prepaid Card” section below for further information. A redemption fee may be charged (see Fees section below) unless you have arranged to transfer any unused funds to another Prepaid Card managed by us, or you cancel your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card within 14 days of receiving it.
We may also cancel your agreement for any reason by giving you at least 2 months’ notice:
- if this agreement or your card expires on a set date and we have not agreed to renew this Agreement;
- if you break an important part of this agreement, or repeatedly break the agreement and fail to resolve the matter in a timely manner;
- if you act in a manner that is threatening or abusive to our staff, or any of our representatives;
- if you fail to pay fees or charges that you have incurred or fail to put right any shortfall;
- in the event of your death
We may also cancel this agreement or suspend your card or account immediately if we believe your Prepaid Card is deliberately being used by you to commit fraud or for other illegal purposes. If we do this, we will tell you as soon as we are permitted to do so. If we cancel your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, you must tell us what you want us to do with any unused funds within three months of the date we tell you your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card is cancelled. If your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card is cancelled, we will immediately block your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card so it cannot be used. You will not be entitled to a refund of money you have already spent on transactions authorised, or pending or any fees for use of the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card before the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card is cancelled or expires. You can cancel your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card by sending an email to us using the “contact us” function on the Website, and confirming that you have destroyed your Prepaid Card.
If you cancel your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, once all transactions and fees have been deducted, we will arrange for any unused funds to be refunded to you, see "Your Right to a Refund" section below for further information. A Refund Fee may be charged (see Fees section below) unless you have arranged to transfer any unused funds to another Prepaid Card managed by us, or you cancel your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card within 14 days of receiving it.
Your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card will be valid for a minimum of 15 months.
On expiry of your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, you will not automatically be provided with a replacement card however you may contact us to seek redemption of the remaining funds on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card by following the process described at Section 11.
When we issue a replacement Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card we may charge a fee. Please section 13 for a summary of fees.
8. Keeping your Prepaid Card secure
You should treat your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card like cash. If it is lost or stolen, you may lose some or all of your money on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, in the same way as if you lost cash in your wallet or purse. As a result, you must keep your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card safe and not let anyone else use it. You should sign the back of the card immediately upon receipt of the card.
We recommend that you check the balance on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card regularly online at the Website. We will provide you with your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card balance and a statement of recent transactions either by electronic means or on our secure webpage at any time. Your statement will show:
- information relating to each Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card transaction which will enable it to be identified;
- the amount of the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card transaction shown in the currency in which the transaction was paid or debited to the account;
- the amount of charges for the transaction
- the date the transaction is authorised or posted on to the account.
9. Lost and stolen Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card and unauthorised or incorrectly executed payments
In the event of a lost or stolen card you can block your card immediately by logging onto your account and placing a block on your account. You may also contact us without undue delay to report the prepaid non-reloadable card lost or stolen or if you think a transaction has been incorrectly executed by calling us on our 24 hour lost and stolen card helpline +353 (0)1 255 7111 or by sending an email to info@perxreward.com . In order to report a transaction this way you MUST know the 16-digit card number.
We will refund any incorrectly executed transaction immediately unless we have any reason to believe that the incident has been caused by a breach of this agreement, gross negligence or we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity, however you will bear the loss, up to €50 in total, if the transaction results from the use of a lost or stolen card.
However, if the investigations show that any disputed transaction was authorised by you, or you have acted fraudulently or with gross negligence (for example by failing to keep your Prepaid Card secure), you may be liable any loss we suffer because of the use of the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card.
10. Our liability
We will not be liable for any loss arising from:
- any cause which results from abnormal or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, consequences which would have been unavoidable despite all our efforts to the contrary; or
- a retailer refusing to accept your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card; or
- our compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
- loss or corruption of data unless caused by our wilful default.
We are also not liable for:
- business interruption, loss of revenue, goodwill, opportunity or anticipated savings;
- any indirect or consequential loss.
11. Your Rights to Redemption of Funds and Refunding of Transactions on Your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card
Redeeming the funds on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card
You have the right to redeem the funds on you Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card at any time in whole or in part. To do so, please either send us an e-mail using the “contact us” facility on the Website or contact us by telephone on +353 (0)1 255 7111, requesting redemption and indicating the amount to be redeemed. If you request redemption of all funds on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, please confirm in writing that you have destroyed your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card by cutting it up. When we process your redemption request, we may require you to provide us with documents such as identification so that we may process your request in accordance with legal requirements. We may also charge a redemption fee if one of the following circumstances applies:
You are requesting redemption before termination or expiry of this agreement;
You cancel this agreement before any agreed termination or expiry date; or
You request redemption more than one year after the date of termination or expiry of this agreement
Please note: If your card has been purchased under the Small Benefits Allowance Scheme, you may not redeem the funds on your card.
Please see section 13 for a summary of fees including redemption fees.
We will not redeem the value of the funds on your card to you if your request for redemption of the funds is more than six years after the date of termination or expiry of this agreement.
Refunding Transactions, You may be entitled to claim a refund in relation to transactions where:
- the transactions were not authorised under this agreement;
- we are responsible for a transaction which was incorrectly executed notified us in accordance with section 8 above;
- a pre-authorised transaction did not specify the exact amount at the time of its authorisation and the amount charged by a supplier is more than you or an additional Prepaid Cardholder could reasonably have expected taking into account normal spending patterns on the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card or the circumstances of the transaction.
A claim for a refund in the circumstances set out above will not be accepted if the amount of the transaction was made available to you at least four weeks before the transaction date or it is made more than 8 weeks after being debited to your account.
We will arrange an electronic transfer to a bank account nominated by you. However, to enable us to comply with our legal obligations, we may ask you to provide us with certain information before we can process your refund request.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may change these terms at any time by notifying you by e-mail or other agreed means at least two months before the change is due to take effect. The up-to-date version of the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card terms and conditions will always be available on the Website. The change will automatically take effect and you will be taken to have accepted the notified change unless you tell us that you do not agree to the change. In that event, we will treat that notice as notification that you wish immediately to terminate. In such circumstances we will refund any balance on the card in accordance with section 10 above and you will not be charged a Refund Fee.
When you have transactions in a currency other than the base currency of the card, in order to ensure that the most accurate exchange rate is used we make the exchange immediately to convert the foreign transaction into the base currency of the card. For all transactions made in a foreign currency you can find out what the applicable exchange rate was at the time of the transaction via the Mastercard website https://www.mastercard.com/us/personal/en/cardholderservices/currencyconversion/index.html
13. The Fees
We do not charge any fees for checking your on-line balance and transactions. However, the following fees do apply:
If we decide to increase or impose any new fees, we will notify you by at least two months before any changes take effect by posting the change to our website.
Authorisation will be requested for all transactions at the time of each transaction. In the unlikely event, for any reason whatsoever, a transaction is completed when there are insufficient funds on the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card for that transaction (a "Shortfall"), the Shortfall shall be reimbursed by you unless it is due to an error on the part of the retailer where the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card was presented, in this circumstance we may seek the Shortfall from the retailer.
You agree that once we make this Shortfall known to you, we may charge you for the Shortfall amount. We may charge the amount of the shortfall from any other Prepaid Non-Reloadable Cards that you hold with us, to any other payment method which you may designate at that time.
14. Your Details
You must let us know as soon as possible if you change name, address, phone number or e-mail address. If we contact you in relation to your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, for example, to notify you that we have cancelled your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card or to send you a refund by cheque, we will use the most recent contact details you have provided to us. Any e-mail to you will be treated as being received as soon as it is sent by us. We will not be liable to you if your contact details have changed and you have not told us.
15. Account Access
For all corporate accounts, the designated account contact will have access to view all card loads. There will be some circumstances where agreements have been put in place with the Corporate that viewing access will be given to the designated contact of the transactions on the card. In the event of queries which cannot be resolved through the online web portal in regards to transactions on a card they should be directed to info@perxreward.com.
16. Data Protection
In purchasing the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card on the Website and using it, you agree that we can use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Information Notice. Our Privacy Information Notice is set out on our Website, it includes details of the personal information that we collect, how it will be used, and who we pass it to. You can tell us if you don't want to receive any marketing materials from us.
17. Disputes with Retailers
If you have any disputes about purchases made using your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, you should settle these with the person you bought the goods or services from. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or any other aspect of any goods or services purchased with your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card. Remember that once you have used your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card to make a purchase we cannot stop that transaction. Your card is not a credit or debit card and does not provide you with any protection under the Consumer Protection Act 1974.
18. Communication
If you have an enquiry relating to your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card, you can use the "Contact Us" facility on the website. We will deal with your enquiry promptly. If you do not wish to enquire in this way you can alternatively call our customer service telephone line, or if your card has been lost or stolen, on +353 (0) 1 901 0432. The customer services telephone line is a chargeable service. Calls are charged at your local call rate.
19. Complaints
The Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card programme is managed by PerfectCard DAC. If you are unhappy in any way with your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card or the way it is managed, tell us by using the e-mail enquiry facility on the Website so we can investigate the circumstances for you. Any complaints you have will be dealt with quickly and fairly. You may be able to take unresolved complaints to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman at 3rd Floor, Lincoln House, Lincoln Place, Dublin 2, D02 VH29. 20. Compensation
The Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card is an electronic money product and although it is a product regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, it is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
The Issuer is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (Register ref: C95957).The Cards are issued by EML Money DAC, whose principal office is (The Greenway, Block C, Ardilaun Court, 112-114 St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, D02 TD28, Dublin, Ireland) and who is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under the ElectronicMoney Regulations 2011 (Register Ref: C95957).
No other compensation scheme exists to cover losses claimed in connection with the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card. This means that in the unlikely event that PerfectCard DAC becomes insolvent your funds may become valueless and unusable and as a result you may lose your money.
21. Assignment
We may assign the benefit and burden of these terms and conditions to another company at any time, on giving you 2 month’s prior notice of this. If we do this, your rights will not be affected.
22. Transfer to a new Prepaid Card
We may transfer your unused balance to a new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card provided by a Prepaid Card issuer other than PSI-Pay Limited at any time. Before we do this, we will give you two months’ notice of the new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card arrangements and the new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card terms and conditions. Unless you advise us within the two-month period that you do not want a new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card from the new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card issuer, you agree that we can automatically transfer the unused balance on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card to a new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card provided by the new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card issuer.
23. Governing Law
This Agreement is concluded in English. All communications with you will be in English. These terms and conditions will be construed in accordance with Irish law.
24. Fund Protection
As a responsible e-money issuer PerfectCard DAC ensures that once it has received your funds they are deposited in a secure account, specifically for the purpose of redeeming transactions made by your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card. In the event that PerfectCard becomes insolvent funds that you have loaded which have arrived with and been deposited by PerfectCard are protected against the claims made by creditors.
25. Prepaid Non-Reloadable Card Issuer
The e-money associated with your card is issued by PerfectCard DAC whose principle office is, The Greenway, Block C, Ardilaun Court, 112-114 St Stephen's Green Dublin 2, D02 TD28, Ireland, which is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (register Ref: C95957). The Perx® Prepaid Reward Mastercard card is issued by PerfectCard DAC pursuant to a licence by Mastercard International Incorporated. Your Prepaid Reward Card is the property of PerfectCard and not transferrable to anyone else.

If we do this, we will tell you as soon as we can or are permitted to do so after we have taken these steps. Like other payment cards, we cannot guarantee a retailer will accept your Prepaid Reload Card. We may also refuse to pay a transaction:
- if we are concerned about security of your Prepaid Reload Card or we suspect your Prepaid Reload Card is being used in an unauthorised or fraudulent manner;
- If sufficient funds are not loaded on your Prepaid Reload Card at the time of a transaction to cover the amount of the transaction and any applicable fees;
- if there is an outstanding Shortfall on the Prepaid Reload Card in accordance with condition 12;
- if we have reasonable grounds to believe that you are acting in breach of this agreement;
- if we believe that a transaction is potentially suspicious or illegal (for example, if we believe that a transaction is being made fraudulently); or
- because of errors, failures (whether mechanical or otherwise) or refusals by merchants, payment processors or payment schemes processing transactions.
If we refuse to authorise a transaction, we will, if practicable, tell you why immediately unless it would be unlawful for us to do so. You may correct any information we hold and which may have caused us to refuse a transaction by logging onto your account on www.perxreward.com, contacting us on info@perxreward.com.
6. Authorising Transactions
Subject to the features of the particular Prepaid Reload Card, the authorisation of a transaction can include authorising any single transaction, a series of recurring transactions (including transactions for an indefinite period) or pre-authorising future transactions of a certain or uncertain amount.
A Prepaid Reload Card transaction will be regarded as authorised by you where you;
- authorise the transaction at the point of sale or ATM by following the instructions provided by the merchant or retailer to authorise the transaction, which may include:
- b) signing a sales voucher;
- c) providing the Prepaid Card details and/ or providing any other details as requested;
Authorisation for a transaction may not be withdrawn (or revoked) by you after the time it is received. However, the following transactions may be withdrawn if you give notice to the supplier (providing a copy of the notice to us):
- any transaction which is agreed to take place on a date later than the date it was authorised as long as notice was provided no later than the close of business on the business day before it was due to take place;
We may charge you a fee if a transaction is revoked by you under this condition, please see our fees table in Section 12 below.
We will pay the funds required by the retailer or merchant to cover the transactions authorised by you within three days of us receiving their request. A transaction (the payment order) will be received as follows:
- for purchases and ATM transactions, at the time we receive the transaction instruction from the merchant acquirer or ATM operator;
- for other transactions which are communicated directly to us, at the time you ask us to complete the transaction.
- If, in relation to;
- a) purchases and ATM transactions, we receive the transaction instruction from the merchant acquirer or ATM operator; or
- b) other transactions communicated directly to us, you ask us to complete the transaction after seven days, the transaction instruction or request will be deemed to have been received by us on the following business day.
7. Cancellation and expiry of your Prepaid Card
This agreement will continue indefinitely unless terminated. You, as the purchaser, have a legal right to cancel your Prepaid Reload Card up to 14 days after you purchase the Prepaid Reload Card without being charged the Redemption Fee – this 14-day period is known as the “Cooling-Off Period”. Under these terms and conditions, you also have the right to cancel your Prepaid Card at any time after the 14-day Cooling-Off Period without notice. If you cancel your prepaid card, once all transactions and fees have been deducted, we will arrange for any unused funds to be refunded to you, see “Your Right to Redemption of Funds and Refunding of Transactions on Your Prepaid Card” section below for further information. A redemption fee may be charged (see Fees section below) unless you have arranged to transfer any unused funds to another Prepaid Card managed by us, or you cancel your Prepaid Reload Card within 14 days of receiving it.
We may also cancel your agreement for any reason by giving you at least two months’ notice:
- if this agreement or your card expires on a set date and we have not agreed to renew this Agreement;
- if you break an important part of this agreement, or repeatedly break the agreement and fail to resolve the matter in a timely manner;
- if you act in a manner that is threatening or abusive to our staff, or any of our representatives;
- if you fail to pay fees or charges that you have incurred or fail to put right any shortfall;
- in the event of your death
We may also cancel this agreement or suspend your card or account immediately if we believe your Prepaid Card is deliberately being used by you to commit fraud or for other illegal purposes. If we do this, we will tell you as soon as we are permitted to do so. If we cancel your Prepaid Reload Card, you must tell us what you want us to do with any unused funds within 3 months of the date we tell you your Prepaid Reload Card is cancelled. If your Prepaid Reload Card is cancelled, we will immediately block your Prepaid Reload Card, so it cannot be used. You will not be entitled to a refund of money you have already spent on transactions authorised or pending or any fees for use of the Prepaid Reload Card before the Prepaid Reload Card is cancelled or expires. You can cancel your Prepaid Reload Card by sending an email to us using the “contact us” function on the Website, and confirming that you have destroyed your Prepaid Card.
If you cancel your Prepaid Reload Card, once all transactions and fees have been deducted, we will arrange for any unused funds to be refunded to you, see "Your Right to a Refund" section below for further information. A Refund Fee may be charged (see Fees section below) unless you have arranged to transfer any unused funds to another Prepaid Card managed by us, or you cancel your Prepaid Reload Card within 14 days of receiving it.
Your Prepaid Reload Card will be valid for a minimum of 15 months.
On expiry of your Prepaid Reload Card, you will not automatically be provided with a replacement card however you may contact us to seek redemption of the remaining funds on your Prepaid Reload Card by following the process described at Section 11.
When we issue a replacement Prepaid Reload Card we may charge a fee. Please section 13 for a summary of fees.
8. Keeping your Prepaid Card secure
You should treat your Prepaid Reload Card like cash. If it is lost or stolen, you may lose some or all of your money on your Prepaid Reload Card, in the same way as if you lost cash in your wallet or purse. As a result, you must keep your Prepaid Reload Card safe and not let anyone else use it. You should sign the back of the card immediately upon receipt of the card. When you receive your Personal Identification Number (PIN), you must keep it safe and secure, you must keep it secret at all times. You should memorise the PIN, destroying the notification and never disclose the PIN or security information to anyone. If you suspect that someone else knows your PIN, you should change it as soon as possible. You can change your PIN to something more memorable at most ATM machines by following the on-screen instruction.
We recommend that you check the balance on your Prepaid Reload Card regularly online at the Website. We will provide you with your Prepaid Reload Card balance and a statement of recent transactions either by electronic means or on our secure webpage at any time. Your statement will show:
- information relating to each Prepaid Reload Card transaction which will enable it to be identified;
- the amount of the Prepaid Reload Card transaction shown in the currency in which the transaction was paid or debited to the account;
- the amount of charges for the transaction
- the date the transaction is authorised or posted on to the account.
9. Lost and stolen Prepaid Reload Card and unauthorised or incorrectly executed payments
In the event of a lost or stolen card you can block your card immediately by logging onto your account and placing a block on your account. You may also contact us without undue delay to report the prepaid reload card lost or stolen or if the PIN or password is known to an unauthorised person or if you think that a transaction has been incorrectly executed by sending an email to info@perxreward.com or calling 1850 496 496 (if calling from outside of Ireland +353 (0)1 255 7111). In order to report a transaction this way you MUST know your 16-digit card number.
We will refund any incorrectly executed transaction immediately unless we have any reason to believe that the incident has been caused by a breach of this agreement, gross negligence or we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity, however you will bear the loss, up to €65 in total, if the transaction results from the use of a lost or stolen card.
However, if the investigations show that any disputed transaction was authorised by you, or you have acted fraudulently or with gross negligence (for example by failing to keep your Prepaid Card or PIN secure), you may be liable any loss we suffer because of the use of the Prepaid Reload Card.
10. Our liability
We will not be liable for any loss arising from:
- any cause which results from abnormal or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, consequences which would have been unavoidable despite all our efforts to the contrary; or
- a retailer refusing to accept your Prepaid Reload Card; or
- our compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
- loss or corruption of data unless caused by our wilful default.
We are also not liable for:
- business interruption, loss of revenue, goodwill, opportunity or anticipated savings;
- any indirect or consequential loss.
11. Your Rights to Redemption of Funds and Refunding of Transactions on Your Prepaid Reload Card
Redeeming the funds on your Prepaid Reload Card
You have the right to redeem the funds on you Prepaid Reload Card at any time in whole or in part. To do so, please either send us an e-mail using the “contact us” facility on the Website or contact us by telephone on +353 (0)1 255 7111, requesting redemption and indicating the amount to be redeemed. If you request redemption of all funds on your Prepaid Reload Card, please confirm in writing that you have destroyed your Prepaid Reload Card by cutting it up. When we process your redemption request, we may require you to provide us with documents such as identification so that we may process your request in accordance with legal requirements. We may also charge a redemption fee if one of the following circumstances applies:
You are requesting redemption before termination or expiry of this agreement;
You cancel this agreement before any agreed termination or expiry date; or
You request redemption more than one year after the date of termination or expiry of this agreement
Please see section 13 for a summary of fees including redemption fees.
Refunding Transactions, you may be entitled to claim a refund in relation to transactions where:
- the transactions were not authorised under this agreement;
- we are responsible for a transaction which was incorrectly executed notified us in accordance with section 8 above;
- a pre-authorised transaction did not specify the exact amount at the time of its authorisation and the amount charged by a supplier is more than you or an additional Prepaid Cardholder could reasonably have expected taking into account normal spending patterns on the Prepaid Reload Card or the circumstances of the transaction.
A claim for a refund in the circumstances set out above will not be accepted if the amount of the transaction was made available to you at least four weeks before the transaction date or it is made more than 8 weeks after being debited to your account.
We will arrange an electronic transfer to a bank account nominated by you. However, to enable us to comply with our legal obligations, we may ask you to provide us with certain information before we can process your refund request.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may change these terms at any time by notifying you by e-mail or other agreed means at least two months before the change is due to take effect. The up-to-date version of the Prepaid Reload Card terms and conditions will always be available on the Website. The change will automatically take effect and you will be taken to have accepted the notified change unless you tell us that you do not agree to the change. In that event, we will treat that notice as notification that you wish immediately to terminate. In such circumstances, we will refund any balance on the card in accordance with section 11 above and you will not be charged a Refund Fee.
When you have transactions in a currency other than the base currency of the card, in order to ensure that the most accurate exchange rate is used we make the exchange immediately to convert the foreign transaction into the base currency of the card. For all transactions made in a foreign currency you can find out what the applicable exchange rate was at the time of the transaction via the Mastercard website https://www.mastercard.com/us/personal/en/cardholderservices/currencyconversion/index.html
13. The Fees
We do not charge any fees for checking your on-line balance and transactions. However, the following fees do apply:
When you use your Prepaid Reload Card at an ATM, you may also be subject to applicable fees, surcharge rules and regulations of the relevant ATM, or other financial institution or association. If we decide to increase or impose any new fees, we will notify you by at least two months before any changes take effect by posting the change to our website.
Authorisation will be requested for all transactions at the time of each transaction. In the unlikely event, for any reason whatsoever, a transaction is completed when there are insufficient funds on the Prepaid Reload Card for that transaction (a "Shortfall"), the Shortfall shall be reimbursed by you unless it is due to an error on the part of the retailer where the Prepaid Reload Card was presented, in this circumstance we may seek the Shortfall from the retailer.
You agree that once we make this Shortfall known to you, we may charge you for the Shortfall amount. We may charge the amount of the shortfall from any other Prepaid Reload Cards that you hold with us, to any other payment method which you may designate at that time, or against any funds which you may subsequently load onto your Prepaid Reload Card or on any additional Prepaid Reload Card ordered by you. Until we are reimbursed the Shortfall amount, we may suspend your Prepaid Reload Card and any additional Prepaid Reload Cards connected to you. In addition, we reserve the right to charge you an Administration Fee for each transaction that you make using your Prepaid Reload Card that results in a Shortfall or increases the Shortfall amount on your Prepaid Reload Card.
14. Your Details
You must let us know as soon as possible if you change name, address, phone number or e-mail address. If we contact you in relation to your Prepaid Reload Card, for example, to notify you that we have cancelled your Prepaid Reload Card or to send you a refund by cheque, we will use the most recent contact details you have provided to us. Any e-mail to you will be treated as being received as soon as it is sent by us. We will not be liable to you if your contact details have changed and you have not told us.
15. Account Access
For all corporate accounts, the designated account contact will have access to view all card loads. There will be some circumstances where agreements have been put in place with the Corporate that viewing access will be given to the designated contact of the transactions on the card. In the event of queries which cannot be resolved through the online web portal in regards to transactions on a card they should be directed to info@perxreward.com
16. Data Protection
In purchasing the Prepaid Reload Card on the Website and using it, you agree that we can use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Information Notice. Our Privacy Information Notice is set out on our Website, it includes details of the personal information that we collect, how it will be used, and who we pass it to. You can tell us if you don't want to receive any marketing materials from us.
17. Disputes with Retailers
If you have any disputes about purchases made using your Prepaid Reload Card, you should settle these with the person you bought the goods or services from. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or any other aspect of any goods or services purchased with your Prepaid Reload Card. Remember that once you have used your Prepaid Reload Card to make a purchase we cannot stop that transaction. Your card is not a credit or debit card and does not provide you with any protection under the Consumer Protection Act 1974.
18. Communication
If you have an enquiry relating to your Prepaid Reload Card, you can use the "Contact Us" facility on the website. We will deal with your enquiry promptly. If you do not wish to enquire in this way you can alternatively call our customer service telephone line, or if your card has been lost or stolen, on 1850 496 496 (if calling from outside if Ireland (+353 1 255 7111). The customer services telephone line is a chargeable service. Calls are charged at your local call rate.
19. Complaints
The Prepaid Reload Card programme is managed by PerfectCard DAC. If you are unhappy in any way with your Prepaid Reload Card or the way it is managed, tell us by using the e-mail enquiry facility on the Website so we can investigate the circumstances for you. Any complaints you have will be dealt with quickly and fairly. You may be able to take unresolved complaints to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman at 3rd Floor, Lincoln House, Lincoln Place, Dublin 2, D02 VH29. Telephone: +353 (0)1 567 7000 and e-mail: info@fspo.ie or by using their online facility to submit a complaint.
20. Compensation
The Prepaid Reload Card is an electronic money product and although it is a product regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, it is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
The Issuer is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (Register ref: C95957).The Cards are issued by EML Money DAC, whose principal office is (The Greenway, Block C, Ardilaun Court, 112-114 St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, D02 TD28, Dublin, Ireland) and who is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under the ElectronicMoney Regulations 2011 (Register Ref: C95957).
No other compensation scheme exists to cover losses claimed in connection with the Prepaid Reload Card.
21. Assignment
We may assign the benefit and burden of these terms and conditions to another company at any time, on giving you 2 month’s prior notice of this. If we do this, your rights will not be affected.
22. Transfer to a new Prepaid Card
We may transfer your unused balance to a new Prepaid Reload Card provided by a Prepaid Card issuer other than PerfectCard DAC at any time. Before we do this, we will give you two months’ notice of the new Prepaid Reload Card arrangements and the new Prepaid Reload Card terms and conditions. Unless you advise us within the two-month period that you do not want a new Prepaid Reload Card from the new Prepaid Reload Card issuer, you agree that we can automatically transfer the unused balance on your Prepaid Reload Card to a new Prepaid Reload Card provided by the new Prepaid Reload Card issuer.
23. Governing Law
This Agreement is concluded in English. All communications with you will be in English. These terms and conditions will be construed in accordance with Irish law.
24. Fund Protection
As a responsible e-money issuer PerfectCard DAC ensures that once it has received your funds they are deposited in a secure account, specifically for the purpose of redeeming transactions made by your Prepaid Reloadable Card. In the event that PerfectCard DAC becomes insolvent funds that you have loaded which have arrived with and been deposited by PerfectCard DAC are protected against the claims made by creditors.
25. Prepaid Reload Card Issuer
The e-money associated with your card is issued by PerfectCard DAC, whose principle office is, The Greenway, Block C, Ardilaun Court, 112-114 St Stephen's Green Dublin 2, D02 TD28, Ireland, which is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (Register Ref: C95957). The PerfectIncentive Prepaid Reload Mastercard card is issued by PerfectCard DAC pursuant to a licence by Mastercard International Incorporated. Your Prepaid Reload Card is the property of PerfectCard DAC and is not transferrable to anyone else.

Prepaid Virtual Card Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Mastercard®. You must read them carefully. In these terms and conditions "you" means the named Prepaid Cardholder and the authorised user of the Prepaid Card. "We", "us" or "our" means PerfectCard DAC. “Website” means our website at www.perxreward.com
1. Your Prepaid Mastercard Card
You can use the Prepaid Card at any virtual location worldwide and online that displays the Mastercard Acceptance Mark, including shops, restaurants or on the telephone. Before using the Prepaid Card, it is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient funds loaded on it to cover your purchase. You will not be able to use your Virtual Prepaid Card after its expiry date.
Your Virtual Prepaid Card is not a credit card and is not in any way connected to your bank account. You will not earn any interest on any funds loaded on your Prepaid Card.
2. Applying for and activating your Prepaid Card
In order to purchase a Perx® Prepaid Virtual Card, you must be a representative of a Corporate Entity and you must be at least 18 years of age. We will require evidence of who you are and your address. We may ask you to provide some documentary evidence to prove this and/or we may carry out checks on you electronically.
By using the Prepaid Virtual Card, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
3. Loading your Prepaid Virtual Card
The amount you can load onto your card is up to a maximum amount of €2,500 following the successful completion of the due diligence requirements. We reserve the right to refuse to accept any particular loading transaction. Upon receipt and clearance, your funds will be available for use on the Prepaid Virtual Card without delay.
4. Registering your Prepaid Virtual Card
We would recommend that you register your prepaid non-reloadable virtual card upon receiving it. You do this by logging onto www.perxreward.com. You will be able to manage your card from your account including getting balances and recent transactions.
5. Using your Prepaid Virtual Card
Detailed instructions on how to use your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card are found on the Website. You will need to follow these instructions when using your Prepaid Virtual Card. We will deduct the value of your transactions from the balance on your Prepaid Virtual Card as soon as they are made. We will also deduct any applicable fees as soon as they become payable by you, see our Fees section below for details of our fees. The Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card belongs to us.

Max Load and Balance: €2,500
Min Load: €10
Max number of POS transactions in a 24hr period: 10
For fraud prevention reasons your card usage may be queried and we may block further usage. In such circumstances, you can simply contact our customer support team on info@perxreward.com or phoning 1850 496 496 (or if calling from outside of Ireland +353 (0)1 255 7111) to request to have your card reinstated.
We may ask you to stop using your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card. We may at any time suspend, restrict or cancel your Prepaid Virtual Card or refuse to issue or replace a Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card for reasons relating to the following:
- we are concerned about security of your account or Prepaid Virtual Cards we have issued to you;
- we suspect your account is being used in an unauthorised or fraudulent manner; or
- we need to do so to comply with the law.
If we do this, we will tell you as soon as we can or are permitted to do so after we have taken these steps. Like other payment cards, we cannot guarantee a retailer will accept your Prepaid Virtual Card. We may also refuse to pay a transaction:

- if we believe that a transaction is potentially suspicious or illegal (for example, if we believe that a transaction is being made fraudulently); or

If we refuse to authorise a transaction, we will, if practicable, tell you why immediately unless it would be unlawful for us to do so. You may correct any information we hold and which may have caused us to refuse a transaction by contacting us on info@perxreward.com or phoning +353 (0)1 255 7111.

We may charge you a fee if a transaction is revoked by you under this condition. Please see our fees table in Section 12 below.

If your Prepaid Virtual Card is cancelled, we will immediately block your Prepaid Virtual Card so it cannot be used. You will not be entitled to a refund of money you have already spent on transactions authorised, or pending or any fees for use of the Prepaid Virtual Card before the Prepaid Virtual Card is cancelled or expires. You can cancel your Prepaid Virtual Card by sending an email to us using the “contact us” function on the Website, and confirming that you have destroyed your Prepaid Virtual Card.
If you cancel your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card, once all transactions and fees have been deducted, we will arrange for any unused funds to be refunded to you, see "Your Right to a Refund" section below for further information. A Refund Fee may be charged (see Fees section below) unless you have arranged to transfer any unused funds to another Prepaid Virtual Card managed by us, or you cancel your Prepaid Virtual Card within 14 days of receiving it.
The valid thru date of your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card will be clearly displayed on the image of the card, you should take note of this date as once this date has passed the card will not work.
On expiry of your Prepaid Virtual Card, you will not automatically be provided with a replacement card however you may contact us to seek redemption of the remaining funds on your Prepaid Virtual Card by following the process described at Section 11.
When we issue a replacement Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card we may charge a fee. Please section 13 for a summary of fees.
8. Keeping your Prepaid Virtual Card secure
You should treat your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card like cash. If the details are lost or stolen, you may lose some or all of your money on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card, in the same way as if you lost cash in your wallet or purse. As a result, you must keep the details of your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card safe and not let anyone else use it. When you receive the details of your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card, you must keep it safe and secure, you must keep it secret at all times. If you suspect that someone else knows the details of your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card, you should contact EML as soon as possible to put a hold on the card.
We recommend that you check the balance on your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card regularly online at the Website. We will provide you with your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card balance and a statement of recent transactions either by electronic means or on our secure webpage at any time. Your statement will show:
- information relating to each Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card transaction which will enable it to be identified;
- the amount of the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card transaction shown in the currency in which the transaction was paid or debited to the account;
- the amount of charges for the transaction; and
- the date the transaction is authorised or posted on to the account.
9. Lost and stolen Prepaid Card and unauthorised or incorrectly executed payments
In the event of a lost or stolen card number you can block card immediately by logging onto your account and placing a block on your card. You may also contact us without undue delay to report the prepaid virtual card lost or stolen or if you think the transaction has been incorrectly executed by calling us on our 24 hour lost and stolen card helpline 1850 496 496 (or if calling from outside of the Republic of Ireland +353 1 255 7111) or by sending an email to info@perxreward.com . In order to report a transaction this way you MUST know the 16-digit card number.
We will refund any incorrectly executed transaction immediately unless we have any reason to believe that the incident has been caused by a breach of this agreement, gross negligence or we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity, however you will bear the loss, up to €50 in total, if the transaction results from the use of a lost or stolen card.
However, if the investigations show that any disputed transaction was authorised by you, or you have acted fraudulently or with gross negligence (for example by failing to keep the details of your Prepaid Virtual Card secure), you may be liable any loss we suffer because of the use of the Prepaid Virtual Card.
10. Our liability
We will not be liable for any loss arising from:
- any cause which results from abnormal or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, consequences which would have been unavoidable despite all our efforts to the contrary;
- a retailer refusing to accept your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card;
- our compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; or
- loss or corruption of data unless caused by our wilful default.
We are also not liable for:
- business interruption, loss of revenue, goodwill, opportunity or anticipated savings; or
- any indirect or consequential loss.
11. Your Rights to Redemption of Funds and Refunding of Transactions on Your Prepaid Card
Redeeming the funds on your Prepaid Virtual Card
You have the right to redeem the funds on your Prepaid Virtual Card at any time in whole or in part. To do so, please either send us an e-mail using the “contact us” facility on the Website, or contact us by telephone on +353 (0)1 255 7111, requesting redemption and indicating the amount to be redeemed. When we process your redemption request, we may require you to provide us with documents such as identification so that we may process your request in accordance with legal requirements. We may also charge a redemption fee if one of the following circumstances applies:
You are requesting redemption before termination or expiry of this agreement;
You cancel this agreement before any agreed termination or expiry date; or
You request redemption more than one year after the date of termination or expiry of this agreement
Please note: If your card has been purchased under the Small Benefits Allowance Scheme, you may not redeem the funds on your card.
Please see section 13 for a summary of fees including redemption fees.
We will not redeem the value of the funds on your card to you if your request for redemption of the funds is more than six years after the date of termination or expiry of this agreement.
Refunding Transactions
You may be entitled to claim a refund in relation to transactions where:
- the transaction was not authorised under this agreement;
- we are responsible for a transaction which was incorrectly executed notified us in accordance with section 8 above; or
- a pre-authorised transaction did not specify the exact amount at the time of its authorisation and the amount charged by a supplier is more than you or an additional Prepaid Cardholder could reasonably have expected taking into account normal spending patterns on the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card or the circumstances of the transaction.
A claim for a refund in the circumstances set out above will not be accepted if the amount of the transaction was made available to you at least four weeks before the transaction date or it is made more than eight weeks after being debited to your account.
We will arrange an electronic transfer to a bank account nominated by you. However, to enable us to comply with our legal obligations, we may ask you to provide us with certain information before we can process your refund request.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may change these terms at any time by notifying you by e-mail or other agreed means at least two months before the change is due to take effect. The up-to-date version of the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card terms and conditions will always be available on the Website. The change will automatically take effect and you will be taken to have accepted the notified change unless you tell us that you do not agree to the change. In that event, we will treat that notice as notification that you wish immediately to terminate. In such circumstances, we will refund any balance on the card in accordance with section 10 above and you will not be charged a Refund Fee.
When you have transactions in a currency other than the base currency of the card, in order to ensure that the most accurate exchange rate is used we make the exchange immediately to convert the foreign transaction into the base currency of the card. For all transactions made in a foreign currency you can find out what the applicable exchange rate was at the time of the transaction via the MasterCard website https://www.mastercard.us/en-us/personal/get-support/convert-currency.html
13. The Fees
We do not charge any fees for checking your on-line balance and transactions. However, the following fees do apply:
If we decide to increase or impose any new fees, we will notify you by at least two months before any changes take effect by posting the change to our website.
Authorisation will be requested for all transactions at the time of each transaction. In the unlikely event, for any reason whatsoever, a transaction is completed when there are insufficient funds on the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card for that transaction (a "Shortfall"), the Shortfall shall be reimbursed by you unless it is due to an error on the part of the retailer where the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card was presented, in this circumstance we may seek the Shortfall from the retailer.
You agree that once we make this Shortfall known to you, we may charge you for the Shortfall amount. We may charge the amount of the shortfall from any other Prepaid Cards that you hold with us, to any other payment method which you may designate at that time.
14. Your Details
You must let us know as soon as possible if you change name, address, phone number or e-mail address. If we contact you in relation to your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card, for example, to notify you that we have cancelled your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card or to send you a refund by cheque, we will use the most recent contact details you have provided to us. Any e-mail to you will be treated as being received as soon as it is sent by us. We will not be liable to you if your contact details have changed and you have not told us.
15. Account Access
For all corporate accounts, the designated account contact will have access to view all card loads. There will be some circumstances where agreements have been put in place with the Corporate that viewing access will be given to the designated contact of the transactions on the card. In the event of queries which cannot be resolved through the online web portal in regards to transaction on a card they should be directed to info@perxreward.com.
16. Data Protection
In purchasing the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card on the Website and using it, you agree that we can use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Information Notice. Our Privacy Information Notice is set out on our Website, it includes details of the personal information that we collect, how it will be used, and who we pass it to. You can tell us if you don't want to receive any marketing materials from us.
17. Disputes with Retailers
If you have any disputes about purchases made using your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card, you should settle these with the person you bought the goods or services from. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or any other aspect of any goods or services purchased with your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card. Remember that once you have used your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card to make a purchase we cannot stop that transaction. Your card is not a credit or debit card and does not provide you with any protection under the Consumer Credit Act 1995 or the European Communities (Consumer Credit Agreements) Regulations 2010.
18. Communication
If you have an enquiry relating to your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card, you can use the "Contact Us" facility on the website. We will deal with your enquiry promptly. If you do not wish to enquire in this way you can alternatively call our customer service telephone line, or if your card has been lost or stolen, on 1850 496 496 (or if calling from outside of the Republic of Ireland +353 (0) 1 255 7111). The customer services telephone line is a chargeable service. Calls are charged at your local call rate.
19. Complaints
The Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card programme is managed by EML Money DAC. If you are unhappy in any way with your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card or the way it is managed, tell us by using the e-mail enquiry facility on the Website so we can investigate the circumstances for you. Any complaints you have will be dealt with quickly and fairly. 20. Compensation
The Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card is an electronic money product and although it is a product regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, it is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
The Issuer is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (Register ref: C95957).The Cards are issued by EML Money DAC, whose principal office is (The Greenway, Block C, Ardilaun Court, 112-114 St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, D02 TD28, Dublin, Ireland) and who is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under the ElectronicMoney Regulations 2011 (Register Ref: C95957).
No other compensation scheme exists to cover losses claimed in connection with the Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card. This means that in the unlikely event that EML Money DAC becomes insolvent your funds may become valueless and unusable and as a result you may lose your money.
21. Assignment
We may assign the benefit and burden of these terms and conditions to another company at any time, on giving you 2 month’s prior notice of this. If we do this, your rights will not be affected.
22. Transfer to a new Prepaid Card
We may transfer your unused balance to a new Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card provided by a Prepaid Card issuer other than EML Money DAC at any time. Before we do this, we will give you 2 months’ notice of the new Prepaid Virtual Card arrangements and the new Prepaid Virtual Card terms and conditions. Unless you advise us within the 2-month period that you do not want a new Prepaid Virtual Card from the new Prepaid Card issuer, you agree that we can automatically transfer the unused balance on your Prepaid Virtual Card to a new Prepaid Virtual Card provided by the new Prepaid Card issuer.
23. Governing Law
This Agreement is concluded in English. All communications with you will be in English. These terms and conditions will be construed in accordance with Irish law.
24. Fund Protection
As a responsible e-money issuer EML Money DAC ensures that once it has received your funds they are deposited in a secure account, specifically for the purpose of redeeming transactions made by your Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual Card. In the event that EML becomes insolvent funds that you have loaded which have arrived with and been deposited by EML Money DAC are protected against the claims made by creditors.
25. Prepaid Card Issuer
The e-money associated with your card is issued by EML Money DAC, whose principle office is, The Greenway, Block C, Ardilaun Court, 112-114 St Stephen's Green Dublin 2, D02 TD28, Ireland, which is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (Register Ref: C95957). The Prepaid Non-Reloadable Virtual MasterCard card is issued by EML Money DAC pursuant to a licence by MasterCard International Incorporated. Your Prepaid Expense Card is the property of EML Money DAC and is not transferrable to anyone else.

1. Promoter
1.1 The Promoter of this promotional draw is EML Money DAC, trading as Perx Rewards, with Company Number 423276 having its registered office at The Greenway, Block C, Ardilaun Court, 112 - 114 St Stephen's Green, Dublin D02 TD28 (“Perx Rewards”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
1.2 This Promotion relates to existing Perx Rewards customers who have been invited by Perx Rewards to provide or update certain account information and supporting documentation required in connection with their Perx Rewards account and continued access to Perx Rewards services, including the ability to place orders through Perx Rewards (“Customer” or “you”). A Customer may act through an Authorised Representative in connection with the account review and the Promotion.
1.3 These Terms and Conditions contain the following definitions:
- Authorised Representative means the individual authorised by a Customer to act on the Customer's behalf in connection with the account review and the Promotion, including submitting the required information, accepting notifications relating to the Prize. An Authorised Representative may nominate a Prize Recipient only where expressly authorised by the Customer to do so.
- Business Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in Ireland.
- Customer means an existing Perx Rewards customer invited by Perx Rewards to participate in the Promotion including any company, partnership, sole trader, charity, club, school, association, public body or other legal person or organisation, whether incorporated or unincorporated.
- Eligible Customer means a Customer satisfying the eligibility criteria set out in clause 3.2.
- Entry Period means the applicable monthly entry period set out in clause 4.1.
- Excluded Customer means a Customer that falls within the scope of clause 3.5.
- Prize Recipient means an employee, or other individual of the winning Customer nominated and approved by the Customer to receive the Prize on the Customer’s behalf should the winning Customer choose that Prize fulfilment option.
- Promotion means the two separate Perx Rewards Promotional Prize Draws described in these Terms and Conditions.
- Prize means the €1,500 Perx gift card awarded to the winning Customer of a Prize Draw pursuant to these Terms and Conditions.
- Prize Draw means each monthly prize draw conducted by Perx Rewards in accordance with clause 7.
- Required Information means any information or documentation required by Perx Rewards in relation to the continued use of the Customer’s account and the Perx Rewards services including the placement of orders through Perx Rewards.
- Submission means the submission by a Customer of the Required Information requested by Perx Rewards for the purposes of updating Customer account information.
2. Promotion Overview
2.1 Perx Rewards is running two (2) separate monthly promotional Prize Draws to incentivise eligible existing Perx Rewards’ Customers to submit the Required Information as part of their account review.
2.2 Submission of the Required Information is a regulatory and contractual requirement for applicable Customers. Customer’s participation in this Promotion is optional and does not affect Customer’s obligation to provide the Required Information requested by Perx Rewards.
2.3 The Promotional Prize Draws are open to Eligible Customers who submit the Required Information in accordance with these Terms and Conditions during one (1) of the following monthly Entry Periods:
- August Draw: Submission during August 2026
- September Draw: Submission during September 2026
2.4 Each monthly draw is a separate promotional Prize Draw with a separate Entry Period, separate pool of Eligible Customers, separate Prize and a separate winner.
2.5 There is no charge to enter any Prize Draw and no purchase is required to enter.
2.6 Perx Rewards may disqualify any Customer that seeks to manipulate or undermine the operation of the Promotion.
3. Eligible Customer
3.1 The Promotion is open only to an Eligible Customer of Perx Rewards.
3.2 An Eligible Customer is a Customer that:
- 3.2.1 is an existing Perx Rewards Customer;
- 3.2.2 has been contacted by Perx Rewards regarding submission of the Required Information;
- 3.2.3 has made a Submission of the Required Information in accordance with clause 3.9 during the relevant Entry Period; and
- 3.2.4 remains an active Customer at the time of the relevant Prize Draw and at the time the Prize is awarded.
3.3 Entry is limited to one (1) entry per Eligible Customer; employees, directors, officers, agents and contractors of a Customer or its group companies are not eligible to enter in their personal capacity.
3.4 An Eligible Customer will be entered into the Prize Draw for the month in which the Required Information is submitted. An Eligible Customer is not eligible for multiple monthly Prize Draws unless Perx Rewards expressly confirms otherwise.
3.5 Perx Rewards acting reasonably, and having regard to its regulatory and compliance obligations where relevant, may exclude any Customer from a Prize Draw (“Excluded Customer”) where Perx Rewards reasonably determines that the Customer:
- 3.5.1 has submitted inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or fraudulent Required Information;
- 3.5.2 has not submitted all Required Information to the satisfaction of Perx Rewards;
- 3.5.3 is subject to unresolved enhanced due diligence, sanctions, financial crime, fraud, onboarding or other compliance concerns;
- 3.5.4 is in breach of its agreement with Perx Rewards; or
- 3.5.5 cannot be included for legal, regulatory, compliance, sanctions, anti-bribery, tax or reputational reasons.
3.6 The entry date for a Customer will be the date on which Perx Rewards determines that the Customer has submitted the Required Information in accordance with clause 3.7 and clause 3.9 (where applicable).
3.7 For the purposes of this Promotion, a Customer shall be regarded as having made a complete Submission of the Required Information only when Perx Rewards has:
- 3.7.1 received all Required Information requested from the Customer;
- 3.7.2 completed its internal review of such Required Information; and
- 3.7.3 confirmed that no further documentation and information is required at that time for completion of the Customer’s Perx account update.
3.8 Submission of the Required Information by a Customer does not of itself constitute completion of Customer’s account update by Perx Rewards.
3.9 Where a Customer submits all the Required Information requested by Perx Rewards before the end of the relevant Entry Period, but Perx Rewards completes its review after the end of that Entry Period, the Customer shall be treated as eligible for the Prize Draw relating to that Entry Period, provided that the Customer otherwise meets the requirements of these Terms and Conditions and:
- 3.9.1 all requested Required Information was submitted before the end of the relevant Entry Period; and
- 3.9.2 following completion of Perx Rewards' review, the Submission is determined by Perx Rewards to be complete, satisfactory and not to require any further information at that time for the purposes of the Customer's account update.
4. Prize Draw Entry Periods
4.1 The Prize Draw Entry Periods are:
- August Draw: 1 August 2026 to 31 August 2026; and
- September Draw: 1 September 2026 to 30 September 2026.
4.2 Submissions received outside the relevant monthly Entry Period will not be entered into that monthly draw, subject to clause 3.9.
5. How to Enter
5.1 An Eligible Customer will automatically receive one (1) entry into the relevant monthly Prize Draw once Perx Rewards has determined that the Customer has satisfactorily submitted all the Required Information in accordance with clause 3.7 and clause 3.9 (where applicable).
6. Prize Draw and Prize
6.1 Prize Draws will be conducted within ten (10) Business Days after the end of each applicable Entry Period. There is one (1) prize for each monthly Prize Draw. One (1) winning Customer only will be selected in each Prize Draw.
6.2 The prize in each monthly Prize Draw is a €1,500 Perx gift card (“Prize”) awarded to the winning Customer. The Prize is awarded to the Customer and not to any individual employee, director, contractor or representative of the Customer. The winning Customer may, at its discretion, nominate a Prize Recipient to receive the Prize on the Customer's behalf, including one of its employees, directors, contractor or other Customer representatives.
6.3 The following terms apply to each Prize:
- 6.3.1 the Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available;
- 6.3.2 the Prize is subject to the terms and conditions applicable to the Perx Rewards gift card, which are available on the Perx Rewards website; and
- 6.3.3 Perx Rewards reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value where reasonably necessary due to legal, regulatory, operational or due to circumstances beyond Perx Rewards’ reasonable control.
- 6.3.4 Perx Rewards shall not be required to issue or activate a Prize or any substitute prize where doing so is prevented by legal, regulatory, technical, operational or third-party supplier issues beyond its reasonable control.
6.4 No additional charge will be payable by the winning Customer to redeem the Prize.
6.5 Award of the Prize remains subject to confirmation that the winning Customer continues to satisfy all eligibility requirements and that no legal, regulatory, sanctions, fraud, AML, anti-bribery, tax, reputational or other compliance concerns have arisen.
6.6 Customer participation in the Promotion does not influence, accelerate or improve the outcome of any Customer account review and does not affect Perx Rewards' regulatory obligations.
7. Winner Selection
7.1 One winning Customer will be selected at random from all Eligible Customers entered into the relevant monthly Prize Draw using a random selection method determined by Perx Rewards.
7.2 Each Prize Draw will take place within ten (10) Business Days following the end of the applicable Entry Period, or as soon as reasonably practicable after Perx Rewards has completed its review of all Submissions made during that Entry Period.
7.3 Perx Rewards may appoint an independent person to oversee the draw process.
7.4 Each draw will be overseen by representatives from at least two (2) of the following functions: Marketing, Commercial, Legal, Compliance or Operations.
7.5 Perx Rewards will maintain an internal record of the eligible entrant list, the date and time of the draw, the random selection method used, the persons overseeing the draw, the selected winner, any exclusions or disqualifications, and winner notification.
7.6 Perx Rewards acting reasonably and having regard to its legal, regulatory and compliance obligations where relevant reserves the right not to issue, activate or fulfil a Prize where doing so would breach any legal, regulatory, AML, sanctions or financial crime requirement applicable to Perx Rewards.
8. Winner Notification And Prize Fulfilment
8.1 The winning Customer will be notified by email using the contact details held by Perx Rewards within five (5) Business Days of the relevant Prize Draw.
8.2 Perx Rewards may require the winning Customer to confirm:
- 8.2.1 acceptance of the Prize;
- 8.2.2 the identity of its nominated Prize Recipient (as applicable); and
- 8.2.3 any information reasonably required for Prize fulfilment.
8.3 If the winning Customer does not respond within ten (10) Business Days, rejects the Prize, is unable to accept the Prize or is subsequently found to be ineligible, Perx Rewards may select an alternative winner from the same Prize Draw.
8.4 The winner of each monthly draw will be the winning Customer. The Prize may be fulfilled through the Customer’s Authorised Representative or nominated Prize Recipient, who will receive the Prize on the Customer’s behalf, where applicable.
8.5 Perx Rewards may require written confirmation from the winning Customer by the Customer Authorised Representative or by the nominated Prize Recipient as notified by the Customer to Perx Rewards (as applicable).
8.6 Perx Rewards shall not be liable for any delay or inability to provide a Prize arising from events beyond its reasonable control.
8.7 Perx Rewards may, with the winning Customer's consent, announce details of the winning Customer and the prize on the Perx Rewards website, social media channels, press releases, and other marketing or promotional materials. Perx Rewards will not publish any personal data relating to individual employees or representatives of the winning Customer without their prior consent.
9. Winner Disqualification / Withholding Prize
9.1 Perx Rewards reserves the right to withhold or recover a Prize where:
- 9.1.1 the winning Customer ceases to be an active Customer;
- 9.1.2 the Customer becomes subject to compliance, fraud, AML, sanctions, anti-bribery, financial crime, tax or reputational concerns;
- 9.1.3 any Required Information submitted by the Customer is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or fraudulent;
- 9.1.4 the Customer is unable or unwilling to nominate a duly Authorised Representative or Prize Recipient;
- 9.1.5 awarding the Prize would, in the reasonable opinion of Perx Rewards, be inconsistent with applicable law, regulation, regulatory expectations or Perx Rewards’ compliance obligations; or
- 9.1.6 circumstances arise which would have resulted in the Customer being disqualified under these Terms and Conditions.
9.2 Perx Rewards, acting reasonably and having regard to its legal, regulatory and compliance obligations where relevant reserves the right to disqualify any Customer or winning Customer where Perx Rewards reasonably believes that:
- 9.2.1 false, incomplete or misleading Required Information has been submitted by the Customer;
- 9.2.2 documents have been falsified or manipulated;
- 9.2.3 the Customer has attempted to manipulate the Promotion;
- 9.2.4 the Customer is not eligible;
- 9.2.5 awarding the Prize could create legal, regulatory, financial crime, sanctions, bribery, tax or reputational concerns;
- 9.2.6 the Customer has breached these Terms and Conditions.
9.3 Nothing in these terms affects Perx Rewards’ right to request further Required Information, conduct enhanced due diligence, restrict account activity, suspend ordering, decline transactions or take any action required for legal, regulatory, AML, sanctions or risk-management purposes (as applicable).
9.4 Perx Rewards may refuse to award or may recover a Prize where Perx Rewards subsequently becomes aware that awarding or retaining the Prize would be inconsistent with applicable AML, sanctions, anti-bribery, fraud-prevention or other legal or regulatory obligations.
10. Disputes
10.1 In the event of any dispute concerning eligibility, Required Information Submission, entry qualification, winner selection or administration of the Promotion, the records maintained by Perx Rewards shall be prima facie evidence of the relevant facts.
11. Data Protection
11.1 Perx Rewards will use limited personal data for the purpose of administering the Promotion, including the Customer’s business contact name, business email address, company name, account identifier, Submission month, eligibility status, winner status and Prize fulfilment details.
11.2 Perx Rewards will not use underlying account documents, UBO identification documents, proofs of address, source of funds information or other detailed account information or documentation for marketing purposes or for selecting winners.
11.3 Personal data will be used only to assess Customer eligibility, administer the Prize Draws, contact winning Customers, fulfil the Prize, maintain an audit record and handle queries or disputes.
11.4 The lawful basis for processing personal data for the administration of the Promotion is Perx Rewards’ legitimate interests in running and administering the Promotion fairly and efficiently.
11.5 Customer account-related communications may also be sent where necessary for Perx Rewards’ compliance, contractual and regulatory purposes.
11.6 Entry into the Prize Draw will not result in the Customer’s business contact and/or Authorised Representative being added to any marketing mailing list unless they have separately opted in to receive marketing communications.
11.7 Personal data will be processed solely for the purposes set out in clause 11.3 and retained for no longer than necessary to administer the Promotion, deal with queries or disputes and maintain appropriate legal, compliance and audit records, in accordance with Perx Rewards applicable retention requirements.
11.8 Individuals whose personal data is processed in connection with the Promotion may exercise their data protection rights in accordance with the Perx Rewards Privacy Notice.
11.9 Personal data may be accessed internally by authorised Perx Rewards personnel involved in administering the Promotion, including representatives of Legal, Compliance, Operations, Commercial and Marketing functions, where necessary for purposes set out in clause 11.3.

12. Customer Responsibilities
12.1 The winning Customer shall be solely responsible for ensuring that the allocation or distribution of the Prize complies with all applicable employment, remuneration, tax, ethics, anti-bribery, public sector, gifts and hospitality, and internal governance requirements.
12.2 Perx Rewards does not provide tax advice and is not responsible for the tax treatment of the Prize in the hands of the Customer, any Authorised Representative or any nominated Prize Recipient of the Customer, and no additional payment will be made by Perx Rewards to cover any tax liability arising from receipt of the Prize.
13. Liability
13.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perx Rewards shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or any Prize.
13.2 Without prejudice to clause 13.1, Perx Rewards will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from a Customer’s inability to enter the relevant Prize Draw due to incomplete Submission of the Required Information, delayed or failed communications, technical issues, Customer internal disputes regarding Prize allocation, inability of a Customer’s Authorised Representative or nominated Prize Recipient to accept the Prize, or use or misuse of the Prize.
13.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
14. General
14.1 Perx Rewards’ decision on eligibility, Submission of the Required Information, winner selection, disqualification and all matters relating to the Promotion is final, save in the case of manifest error.
14.2 Perx Rewards reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time where reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, operational, technical, security or compliance reasons. No amendment shall materially prejudice the rights of Customers who have already qualified for entry into a Prize Draw unless required by law or regulation.
14.3 Perx Rewards reserves the right to suspend, cancel, withdraw or terminate the Promotion where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or to comply with legal, regulatory or compliance requirements.
14.4 Any disputes arising in connection with the Promotion shall be governed by Irish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
